The Peaceful Pelican is a private and comfortable place to stay while you prepare for your big day. We also have a gourmet chef available for catering your wedding or whipping up meals for your wedding party prior to saying, “I do.” Let us help you create beautiful memories that you can pass down to your children and grandchildren.

SHOWERS

The Peaceful Pelican is the perfect setting for a baby or bridal shower and even hosting your birthday party. Bring your friends and family to our beautiful Victorian home for a lasting, memorable experience. We have an amazing chef available for catering the event and plenty of common space for the shower and party itself.

RETREATS

The Peaceful Pelican is the perfect setting for retreats of all kinds from restorative to business. We are also equipped to provide meeting space and have a projector and screen available for use. You never have to leave the premises (unless you want to of course!) since our amazing chef is available for catering. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor common space available for meetings and activities. And don’t forget! We also have high speed wifi available!

FISHING GETAWAY

You will find excellent bank fishing just steps outside our front door. Take your fishing pole and walk out onto one of the many public piers. Come alone or bring the whole family. Palacios offers covered table areas, restrooms, grassy areas, playgrounds, and even fish cleaning stations – all available to the public and along the water. Spend a day fishing while the kids run and play. If you prefer to be out on the water, charter a boat for the day!

FAMILY GET-TOGETHERS

The Peaceful Pelican is the perfect place for a family get-together that’s off the beaten path. You can book the whole house, which will give you access to all five bedrooms along with the living room, kitchen (not usually available to guests), dining room, the sunroom, and a large, expansive porch to enjoy a private, peaceful, fun time with your family. You’re sure to relax and create some special memories when you host your family gathering here!
