EXPLORE THE AREA
Palacios has plenty to offer! Enjoy some great food at The Point (featured on Anthony Boudrain’s “Parts Unknown” and the PBS guy), take a stroll down Main St. to grab a cup coffee and an ice cream cone, grab a pole and try your hand at fishing on one of the many public piers, have a great time listening to live music, or enjoy some historic site-seeing around the area.
OUR STORY
The Peaceful Pelican has over 100 years of rich history. From being the site of the first private school in Matagorda County to being converted into apartments during World War II, it’s seen its fair share of action. And its host, Paula Whitney, is full of hospitality, scrumptious cooking, and cheerful spirits.
